Fun with Ragdolls Plus — Sandbox & Story Mode Details

Hello everyone!

As we get closer to the release of Fun with Ragdolls Plus, I wanted to give you a quick update. We’ve hit some huge milestones, and the finish line is finally in sight!

Sharing your Sandbox Creations

When you create a world in Fun with Ragdolls Plus, you’ll be able to share it as a world file, either online or directly with friends. Think Minecraft: simple, direct, and still easy to share. At launch, there won’t be an in-game world browser. I know some of you were looking forward to that, but keeping things straightforward means you’ll be playing sooner.

Story First, Sandbox Second

Fun with Ragdolls Plus is, at its core, a story-driven game. That doesn’t mean sandbox is going away — it’s still here, with plenty of new toys, tools, and tricks that make it very different from the last game. This time, the main focus is telling a story, not trying to be the biggest sandbox game on the block. There’s already tons of sandbox games out there, including the first game. I wanted to do something fresh that still feels like Fun with Ragdolls, just in a new way.

Every day, from morning to night, I’ve been working on Fun with Ragdolls Plus since 2022. Along the way, I’ve been through some wild journeys, including remaking the game in three different game engines (that’s a story for another time). The original story for this game was written nearly six years ago, and it’s been living in my head and heart ever since.

All that to say, I’m fully dedicated to this, and I’m pouring everything I have into making the best game I’m humanly capable of, for you and everyone to enjoy.
